The Kurdish modal music has been reverberated on Shahriyar Jamshidi’s Kamancha during his group Dilan Chamber Music Ensemble trio concert at Manzoumeh Kherad Institute, in Tehran the last year he was allowed to perform on the Iranian stage.
The 2007 shows were Jamshidi’s last stage works in Iran, the country is led under the power and pressure of the radical Islamic system, which prohibits Kurdish cultural activities associated with political and deep cultural contents.
